Janitorial Day Porter (Day Custodian / Janitor)- Pay: $15.00 per hour
- Location: Beaufort, SC (On-site, School Setting)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

What You’ll DoAs a Janitorial Day Porter
, you are the vital daytime presence keeping our school partner clean, sanitized, and safe for students and staff. In this role, your key duties as a dedicated custodian include:
- Keeping hallways, offices, restrooms, and lobbies sparkling clean and fully stocked.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and operating standard floor care equipment.
- Managing routine trash removal and recycling across school grounds.
- Handling quick cleanup requests and setting up tables and chairs for school events.
- Serving as a reliable, friendly day porter and janitor who reports maintenance needs to ensure a safe learning environment.
- A friendly, dependable attitude and great customer service skills.
- The ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfort working in a bustling, energetic school environment.
- Willingness to learn—no experience is needed, we provide all hands‑on training!
