Functional Responsibilities

• Direct Daily Operations
• Assists in performing routine maintenance and repairs on distribution center equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, material handling systems, and other machinery.
• Conducts daily inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or preventative maintenance.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and minor repairs of building services and systems.
• Handles chemicals and electrical systems with care, following established safety protocols.

• Responds promptly to service requests from operations and other departments, ensuring minimal disruption to daily activities.
• Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors about maintenance activities, equipment status, and safety concerns.
• Collaborates with maintenance and operations teams to coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and upgrades to ensure minimal downtime
• Provides technical support for facility-related issues as needed, working in partnership with the broader maintenance team.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Participates in ongoing efforts to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability within the distribution center.
• Supports the implementation of maintenance best practices, new tools, and technologies to optimize performance.
• Tracks maintenance activities and assist with reporting maintenance data to help with performance analysis and future planning
• Continuing Education
• Participates in training sessions and development opportunities to stay current with new maintenance techniques, equipment technologies, and safety regulations.
