Maintenance Specialist (Full-Time)

DuGood Credit Union is looking for a hands‑on, problem‑solving Maintenance Specialist to maintain and repair our branch locations. You will handle day‑to‑day maintenance and repairs at all branch locations and work with third‑party vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Maintain work orders and updates using our electronic work log system.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to maintenance requests.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs such as pressure washing, weatherization, parking lot upkeep, etc.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, locks, and other building components.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and special facility projects.
• Work with third‑party vendors (cleaning crews, landscapers, carpet services, etc.) to ensure quality work and fair pricing.
• Support disaster recovery and emergency response efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday.
• On‑call availability for building‑related emergencies after hours.
• 2–3 years general maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience (preferred).
• Experience with basic plumbing, hand and power tools, HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and be bondable.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and use proper safety gear.
