Facilities Support Specialist / Janitor

Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Support Specialist / Janitor to maintain the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of our facility. In this role, you will handle daily custodial duties as well as routine maintenance and repair work across property structures, equipment, appliances, and grounds to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing work spaces, and trash removal.
• Assist with facility maintenance and basic repair work on structures, appliances, utility systems, and equipment.
• Maintain outer facility grounds to ensure a tidy and professional aesthetic.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and environmental health regulations.
• Identify and report any major repairs, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to management.
• Perform other facilities support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or basic building maintenance work preferred.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines, cleaning supplies, and facility maintenance tools.
• Ability to handle physical requirements of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
