Floor Technician

Position

Full‑time Floor Technician – Marshfield Medical Center Beaver Dam, 707 South University Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. Online applications only.

Monday – Friday, full time. Hours may vary; details provided during interview.

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Minimum 1 year of janitorial and floor care experience. Prior floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
