TVW, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1967 by Hildah Highbe, a former special needs teacher. Her vision was to provide a program that would enable adults with disabilities to achieve their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society. Sustainable Cleaning Systems:
Sustainable Cleaning Systems has supported work opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Oregon for 20 years by providing janitorial, hard floor & carpet cleaning positions. TVW’s mission is “We support the employment choices of people with disabilities.” We give priority in hiring to individuals that fulfill our mission in hiring individuals that have a medical, physical, or mental condition(s).

WORK SCHEDULE:

Hours will vary, depending on janitorial contract needs. WAGE: $21.00 to 21.75 per Hour BENEFITS:

• Independently and with minimum supervision, the janitorial lead worker models exemplary behavior and provides the day-to-day oversight of work performed by, and the safety of, janitors and clients assigned to a janitorial crew.
• Assists manager, supervisors, and other lead workers to provide adequate coverage and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
• Performs other assigned tasks to ensure the quality of all work performed. Responsible for inputting to the janitorial supervisor (primarily) and operations manager on site quality issues, overtime reduction, compliance with contractual obligations, employee accountability, and other matters as requested.

• Janitorial floater will provide consistent janitorial services; assist other janitors in cleaning to ensure overall quality to the assigned locations.
