Job DescriptionThe Custodian 3 maintains an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public. Responsibilities include assisting with furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities, and events, and minimizing property damage, loss, and liability exposure. The role provides specialized custodial and maintenance services in one or more of the following areas:
- Custodial: Performs routine custodial tasks at district schools and sites; assumes a leadership role and assists with directing work among peers. Site‑specific Custodian 3’s may also perform general facility maintenance and grounds upkeep.
- Maintenance: Performs advanced and varied facilities maintenance duties at multiple district sites.
Reports to:
Field Supervisor of Custodial Services or Supervisor of Maintenance Services. Indirectly reports to:
Custodial Foreman, Maintenance Foreman, Maintenance Leader, School Principal, and/or Assistant Principal.
