Join our team as a Housekeeper and be part of the team responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors. This full‑time position runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and requires availability to work rotating weekends.
Maryville is a faith‑based, nonprofit care facility located in Beaverton, Oregon.

- Clean, sanitize and maintain common areas, residents’ rooms and bathrooms (vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting, and mopping floors).
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and request refills or replacements when necessary.
- Follow infection control protocols, health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed.
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, guests, or coworkers.
- Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and infection control regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or events as assigned.
- Ability to pass the criminal background check required of all campus employees.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control standards preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, long‑term care or hospitality preferred.
- Must be able to read, understand and speak English fluently.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work in temperature‑controlled office areas but frequently move through the entire facility, including patient rooms and common lobbies.
- Work in a moderate noise environment with frequent interruptions.
- Stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Lift, push, pull or move at least 50 pounds independently.
- Regular bending, stooping, reaching, strong dexterity, and kneeling required.
- Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
This is a full‑time, non‑management position.
