Join our team as a Laundry Attendant! In this position, you will be responsible for processing clean linens and garments, with a primary focus on accurately folding, sorting, and organizing items that meet quality and presentation standards. This role ensures efficient workflow within the laundry department and supports overall cleanliness and organization.
This is a full‑time position scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, with a shift from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and availability required for rotating weekends.

- Complete duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor.
- Fold linens, towels, garments, and other laundry items according to established standards.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues as needed.
- Assist with loading/unloading washers and dryers if needed.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while following all department procedures and instructions.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
- Prepare and organize delivery cars and efficiently distribute linens and garments.
- Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Follow directions carefully and adhere to established workflows.
- Ability to pass the criminal background check.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to interact tactfully and respectfully with residents, guests, and staff.
- Teamwork skills to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Problem‑solving ability and work independently.
- Capacity to perform routine and repetitious tasks.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods while folding or delivering items.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally more with assistance.
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and twisting while folding or delivering items.
- Ability to push carts and trash barrels through hallways and service areas.
- Ability to grip, handle, and move laundry, carts, and packing materials safely and efficiently.
