About the Role:

As a Building Tech I, you will help keep district facilities clean, safe and welcoming. This entry-level role is perfect for candidates who have experience in commercial custodial services and want to grow their facilities maintenance skills. You'll start with close guidance as you learn about our practices, but your responsibilities and independence will expand as you gain experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service.

What You Bring:

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and custodial tools.
  • Familiarity with routine maintenance and simple repair techniques.
  • Ability to safely operate custodial equipment and follow safety procedures.

  • A commitment to trust, respect, diversity, equity, inclusion, sustainability and excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent walking, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will regularly push, pull, and use repetitive movements while cleaning, moving furniture, and operating custodial equipment. Some exposure to dust, noise and cleaning chemicals is part of the job. Please review the full job description for detailed working conditions.
