Position: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II

Facilities Maintenance Technician II – Bedford, New Hampshire

Responsibilities
  • Operate powered industrial trucks and maintain utilities, production, and facility equipment.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with EH&S policies, including Hot Work and Lock Out Tag Out; uphold all safety procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and monitor all equipment, utilities systems that supply GMP manufacturing.
  • Perform preventative, routine, and non‑routine maintenance on GMP equipment, utilities and systems.
  • Conduct proactive routine inspections of utilities, equipment and facilities to ensure functionality and audit readiness.
  • Respond to critical alarms for equipment systems; investigate failures and serve as system expert for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Document all work on validated systems, including equipment logs, readings, and alarm investigations.
  • Analyze water systems, perform trend analysis, and recommend program improvements.
  • Respond to adverse conditions and implement corrective actions to restore equipment or utilities to normal operation.
  • Escort contractors during project activities, troubleshooting, and planned or unplanned maintenance.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on‑call or emergency response rotation with limited supervision.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • 2‑year trade school or 3 years of related industry experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Previous experience in a GMP and/or cleanroom facility.
  • Experience with WFI systems, Purified Water, Clean Steam, and Compressed gas.
  • Practical knowledge of GMPs and the ability to work in an SOP environment.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management software (e.g., Blue Mountain).
  • Basic understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
