Maintenance Assistant

Aventura at Walton Hills looking for a Part time Seasonal Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Job Duties:

The Maintenance Assistant will report directly to the Maintenance Director and will be responsible for light maintenance duties including drywall, painting, furnace repair, light plumbing and general resident room maintenance.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or graduate of a technical school preferred, for performance of general maintenance duties.

• 2 years of experience in maintenance. Preference given for experience in healthcare organization, especially nursing home/retirement community.

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. independently, and over 75 lbs. with assistance.

• Able to work in confined spaces.

• Able to work at elevated heights.

• Walk, stand, and sit intermittently throughout the day.

• May work in heights and confined areas.
