Part‑Time Maintenance Worker (Searcy Campus)

ASU‑Beebe, a two‑year residential community college part of the Arkansas State University System, is seeking a Part‑Time Maintenance Worker for the Searcy Campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists with pressure washing
- Assists Grounds with weed eating and mowing
- Assists with unloading materials
- Assists with special projects and support services
- Assists with event set ups and tear downs
- Assists with sweeping and cleaning Maintenance warehouse
- Assists with cleaning the work site
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate with skilled tradesmen
- Assists with minor painting work
- Assists with basic maintenance tasks
- Performs related responsibilities as required or as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Minimum Salary$13.00 per hour
Physical Demands- Stand regularly
- Walk continuously
- Sit occasionally
- Use hand to finger, handle, or feel continuously
- Reach with hands and arms continuously
- Climb or balance regularly
- Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl regularly
- Talk or hear continuously
- Taste or smell occasionally
- Up to 50 pounds regularly
This position will be subject to a pre‑employment criminal, sex‑offender registry background check. In cases where pre‑determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
