Job Title:
Overnight Maintenance Engineer at Inter Continental Seattle Bellevue, an Inter Continental Hotel – a global luxury brand.
- Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air-conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
- Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
- Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
- Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
- Keep records as required by company policy and procedures and maintain logs of completed tasks.
- Prepare and submit reports as requested by supervisors in a timely manner.
- Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
- Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Engaging and welcoming personality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout the shift.
- Lift ability of up to 50 lbs.
$27.00 – $28.00 per hour.
Benefits (Full-Time)- Paid Time Off: 2.15 hours for every 40 hours worked (~14 days).
