Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Lead Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the property and providing superior customer service to all residents.
Responsibilities- Perform split system heat pump repairs, building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
- Lead and train a team of maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety laws, regulations, and standards.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and projects with the Director of Engineering.
Hourly rate of $44.68, based on experience. This is a non-exempt position that will be compensated for overtime.
Attendance & ScheduleAttendance is essential. The community operates 24/7, so weekend and overnight work may be required.
What you bring- Five or more years of engineering experience with strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. and safely move appliances.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet.
- Experience leading a team and training employees.
- Experience in multifamily or hospitality environments preferred.
