Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly

The Housekeeper ensures a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the facility. This role supports infection prevention, resident comfort, and a professional, welcoming atmosphere.

This position reports directly to the Environmental Services Supervisor or designated department lead.

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility protocols.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Dispose of trash, linens, and medical waste according to infection control and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or shortages.
• Follow infection prevention and safety policies at all times.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from staff or residents.
• Support a positive and respectful environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in healthcare or long‑term care preferred.

• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
