As our temporary custodian, you will perform custodial assignments necessary to maintain the cleanliness and care of the facilities including academic, residential, and athletic.
A basic list of responsibilities include:
* Emptying trash
* Dusting
* Vacuuming
* Checking fixtures and making note of damage
* Interim floor and carpet care
* Spot cleaning of carpets
* Polishing
* Cleaning door glass
* Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Operating cleaning equipment
* Cleaning lockers and benches
* Setting up and removing furniture
* Assisting as required on snow removal
* Mixing chemicals for cleaning
* Disinfecting, cleaning and sanitizing
* Stripping, cleaning, buffing and applying finish to floors
Required Qualifications
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Effectively read, write and follow oral and/or written instructions as provided by management
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance or custodial work in an educational environment
* Proven ability to work independently and in groups
