About The Position

NC Machinery Grand Opening coming to Bellingham, Washington! We’re excited to open a new location and are ready to grow our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team launching a new location for NC Machinery. Do you like to solve technical problems? Are you effective at troubleshooting? If so, we have a challenging opportunity as a Rental Technician in our Bellingham, WA branch.

This is a key role in our company.

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar, Allied and Genie or aerial equipment, including removing, repairing, assembling and installing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems; experience with CAT diagnostic equipment, CAT repair tooling, rigging and blocking equipment is essential.
• Plan and organize projects with emphasis on controlling job costs.
• Investigate, analyze and identify problems to make recommendations that eliminate issues.
• Communicate with a variety of people, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and effective writing for internal software and order completion.

• High school degree (or equivalent) plus graduate of a 2-4 year vocational technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Possession of forklift driving and operation equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, hoists, cranes, pressure washers in some locations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and work in shop or field; includes twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling.
• Experience working at a Caterpillar dealership or with CAT products is ideal.

We offer a competitive benefits package that includes an hourly wage from $30.50 to $41.70 per hour, based on skills and experience.
