Position:Cleaner / Housekeeper (Affinity at Bellingham)
We are seeking a people‑focused Cleaner / Housekeeper for our 55+ active adult community. The role focuses on general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment for residents.
Responsibilities- Maintain a community culture that enhances residents’ way of life while providing excellent customer service.
- Build strong rapport with residents of the community.
- Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily.
- Clean office spaces on a schedule set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Use the apartment cleaning checklist to clean vacant apartment homes after each move‑out.
- Clean and organize the pool house, including straightening chairs on the pool deck, cleaning public bathrooms, and vacuuming and dusting amenity spaces.
- Remove used towels in the pool area and replace them with freshly laundered towels daily.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common areas, and empty public trash cans.
- Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications- Team player who embraces a "we over me" approach.
- Determined, ambitious, and self‑motivated.
- Excellent communication skills; proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management strongly preferred.
- Computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and navigation of web‑based trainings.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Competitive pay: $21–$23 per hour (based on experience).

- Noise: occasional exposure to high‑volume sounds; hearing protection provided.
