• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated
• Plan a program of study that as much as possible meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
• Guide the learning proceeds toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students

• Illinois Professional Educator License with the appropriate endorsement(s)
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• LBS1 preferred

Term: Length of School Year

Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education policies of Evaluation of certified personnel

Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
