Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join an Illinois school district for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time, in-person opportunity requiring 2–3 days per week and is well suited for an educator who is passionate about accessible instruction and helping students with hearing differences achieve their educational goals.
Your Role:
You will provide specialized instruction and individualized support based on each student's academic and communication needs. The position involves working closely with classroom educators, related service professionals, school leadership, and families to coordinate services and promote consistent support across the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and monitoring progress toward IEP objectives
- Participating in educational planning and student support meetings.
- Delivering instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs.
- Adapting instructional methods to improve accessibility and engagement.
- Encouraging student independence, confidence, and academic development.
- Maintaining communication with families and multidisciplinary team members.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a DHH educational setting preferred, but not mandatory.
