Job Description: Chicago Glass & Mirror, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for our Bellwood, Illinois location. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing financial planning and reporting for the President, CFO, and Management Team.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting functions including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

Serve as the company credit manager and accounts receivable manager, establishing customer credit limits and payment terms, and managing receivables daily.

Manage accounting staff, including motivation, training, recruitment, and selection.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.

Manage cash flow and prepare weekly cash forecasts.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and the issuance of financial statements.

Prepare regulatory reports, including bank borrowing certificates and financial data for debt covenants.

Manage annual accounting reviews, financial statement issuance, and tax filings.

Oversee regulatory audits and examinations.

Manage banking, financing, legal, and accounting relationships.

Evaluate lender proposals for equipment financing.

Contribute to strategic planning as part of the executive team.

Coordinate budgets and financial forecasts.

Handle company insurance, legal contracts, negotiations, and major relationships.

This position requires at least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing and construction, with an accounting degree and CPA highly desired.
