Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead process development and optimization for automotive manufacturing operations. This role focuses on improving efficiency, ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF standards, and supporting new product launches. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced manufacturing techniques and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and optimize automotive manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues and scrap reduction efforts.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new automotive components.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support equipment selection, installation, and validation for automotive production lines.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on scrap reduction, cycle time improvement, and cost savings.
Salary Range:
$80,800 - $111,100 Internal Use Only:
