Pack Line Helper - 1st Shift

 Responsibilities:

* Check work orders, properly select processed material ... checking for
    weight, alloy, size, and quality.
  
* Operate forklift to bring material to the production floor or shipping
    department.
  
* Follow packaging instructions.
  
* Operate simple hand tools and machines ... automatic bander, core cutting
    machine, shrink wrapper, nail gun, circular saw.
  
* Properly identify all slit material and complete all documentation.
  
* Group completed coils together by work order in designated area.
  
* Maintain the work area cleanly and neatly.
  
* Remain open to opportunities for advancement into a manufacturing/production
    role.
  
* Train new operators, as required.
  
* Assist supervisor/manager and other operators as needed.
  
* Other duties as assigned

 Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
  
* Manufacturing experience preferred.
  
* Sufficient ability to maintain records and reports.
  
* Ability to read drawings and use measuring instruments
  
* Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  
* Understanding of production procedures.
  
* Analytical skills.
  
* Attention to detail.
  
* Teamwork and communication skills.
