Overview

Coordinate & make improvements to processes within scope of responsibility to reduce cycle time, improve quality and uptime, and perform duties to maintain, troubleshoot & operate machine equipment. Work from blueprints, electrical, pneumatic diagrams and process control manuals.

• Set up and changeover machines, verify setups, and call correct CNC and gantry automation programs.
• Troubleshoot and problem‑solve equipment‑related malfunctions (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC, robotic vision‑guided software, servo, etc.).
• Adjust machine hardware (sensors, motion control devices, mechanical components) and process parameters.
• Teach points, start‑up equipment, perform operator preventive maintenance (fluid levels, pneumatics, filters).
• Manage hanger maintenance and conveyor system repairs, including identifying, removing, replacing and documenting components.
• Identify, correct and communicate upstream/downstream process issues that affect output or quality.
• Run test and prototype parts, document results, respond to SPC data and decide on process adjustments.
• Analyze machine rejects, determine nature of problem and adjust parameters.
• Provide technical assistance to skilled trades.
• Inspect parts per QSS, check visually for doubles, surface defects and dimensional defects.
• Maintain logbooks, performance measures and operate according to QSS, POS and gage instructions.
• Load machines with parts, keep area 5S compliant and machines functioning.

• AAS in a technical field or equivalent technical experience with gantry robots and CNC controls (at least two years).
• Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment, including vision‑guided robots.
• Strong mechanical, math and organizational skills for daily problem‑solving.
• Ability to use safety guidelines and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player mindset, able to work amicably with co‑workers and report issues promptly.
