Position requires the ability to work overtime. It may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs. This is an overnight shift position, hours are 6pm-6:30am. 2 nights on, 2 nights off, every other weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon) off.
We are looking for an analytical, skilled individual to join our team as a warehouse clerk. A few responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: managing inventory, creating orders, and implementing control protocols related to supply chain. This position will be responsible for the coordination of loading & unloading all materials and goods while maintaining inventory integrity. Collaborate with others around continuous improvements and must possess the ability to troubleshoot system errors while making critical decisions that could influence production.
In this role, you must thoroughly document your work in a neat and organized manner while communicating delays, changes, and other variables to warehouse leadership. You will also be required to monitor e-mail communications from our outside storage locations to systematically update SAP quantities and statuses of materials daily.
Ways you will make a difference:
- Monitor the loading and unloading of shipments
- Direct carriers to specific dock doors and ensure unloading in a timely manner
- Ability to work inter-departmentally, or with other locations to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue
- Review data quality by participating in data cleanup activities including the review of aged PO's from multiple sources
- Basic Microsoft office skills and clear email communication
- Microsoft Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP and pivot tables) & updating of excel spread sheets
- Communicate & coordinate all deliveries for both inbound & outbound shipments
- Report yard checks & Direct Deployment activities
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by leadership
- Ability to travel to other locations
- Assist in developing processes, procedures, and support training to ensure inventory and ERP programs are consistent with both Ferrara and our external warehouses
- Approve/Deny carrier storage and detention request
- Audit Bills/Invoices as requested
