A Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including managing staff, inventory, and ensuring safety compliance. They supervise warehouse staff, manage inventory, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with other departments. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The Warehouse Floater must be flexible and available to support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts across multiple facilities based on business needs.
Roleand Responsibilities
- Lead a team of forklift operators in the warehouse
- Assign daily duties to operators
- Unload and load material
- Verify quantities for both inbound and outbound loads
- Create Labels, Pack lists, and BOLs for shipments
- Create pallets tags for material receipts
- Transport raw & finished materials to production workstations and warehouse
- Inspect machinery and report any issues
- Determine the need for repairs
- Keep updated records of inventory
- Produce activity logs – Verify operators submitting proper forms
- Pick and select orders for warehouse transfers
- Comply with company policies and guidelines
- Assist in keeping a safe environment Requirements
- Good knowledge of industrial equipment
- Very good physical condition - Excellent coordination
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety guidelines
- Understand and follow Food Safety Policies

Requirements- This position works in a manufacturing environment.
- Frequently carry or lift 50 pounds or more.
- This position requires traveling to multiple Bake houses manufacturing facilities in the Chicago suburbs area, no overnight stay required.
