Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) diploma, and education and/or experience in mechanical work that is directly related to the job. Requirements:
Must be able to bend, push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs. Must have a current driver's license with a clean driving record. A CDL is a plus, but not required Must be able to operate power tools and lawn equipment. Job Goal:
Perform preventative maintenance on all WCPS vehicles Repair lawn equipment - riding mowers, tractors, push mowers, weed eaters, Blowers, etc. Order materials and keep inventory for preventative maintenance Maintain a clean work environment Illustrative Examples Of Work:
Troubleshooting lawn mowers and vehicle issues Replaces faulty parts Repair vehicles throughout the county Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance Ability to use power tools Ability to make repairs on lawn mowers Ability to follow oral and written instructions Terms of Employment: 12- month work year/ at will employees/ FLSA Non-Exempt Starting Salary and/ or Grade:
Grade 61 Evaluations:
