Aboutthe Role
As an Events Setup Staff member with Concordia Language Villages, you’ll help create welcoming, well-organized experiences for guests attending events at our Bemidji site. This hands-on, on-call role supports events from setup through cleanup, including preparing event spaces, assisting with food and beverage service, and making sure guests have what they need throughout an event.
You’ll work alongside staff from Client Services, Culinary Arts, and the Distribution Center to help events run smoothly and safely. The schedule is flexible based on event needs and may include evenings and weekends.
What You'll Do- Set up and take down tables, chairs, staging, linens, place settings, and other event equipment.
- Support food and beverage service, including serving courses, replenishing stations, clearing dishes, and preparing coffee and beverages.
- Work with Client Services, Culinary Arts, and Distribution Center staff to prepare for and support CLV events.
- Make sure event spaces have the equipment, supplies, and products needed for successful events.
- Help keep event spaces, equipment, storage areas, and dinnerware clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Assist with event-space moves and other facilities support, including trash and recycling removal and occasional snow removal.
- Provide light custodial and other operational support as needed.
