Job Summary
The City of Bend is hiring a full‑time Facilities Day Custodian in the Facilities Division of the Real Estate, Facilities and Housing Department. This hourly, non‑exempt position (overtime eligible) is represented by the City of Bend Employee Association (COBEA).

Custodian.
As a Day Custodian you will maintain our brand‑new Public Works Campus, providing excellent customer service, cleaning common areas, restocking restrooms and kitchens, setting up conference rooms, and occasionally assisting Facilities Technicians with preventative maintenance. You will also manage inventory for night shift janitors.
Responsibilities- Provide great customer service to City employees, visitors and the community.
- Restock restrooms and kitchen supplies.
- Clean common areas such as the dining area, restrooms and other shared spaces.
- Set up conference rooms for larger events.
- Assist Facilities Technicians with preventative maintenance tasks when needed.
- Maintain and order inventory for night‑shift janitors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
- 1 year experience in a similar position and/or performing similar tasks, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Current and valid Driver’s license per City policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Ability to obtain CJIS certification within 6 months of employment.
- Basic comprehension of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
