The Laundry Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring cleaner, healthier environments for our customers by delivering high-quality cleaning and textile care services. The role involves performing a range of essential duties and responsibilities aimed at maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the company's commitment to excellence. These responsibilities include utilizing specialized equipment, following established cleaning protocols, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Perform cleaning tasks using Service Master approved products, tools, and procedures.
• Handle laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothes and other textile items.
• Collect textiles from customers for cleaning and return them as needed.
• Treat stains on items by applying appropriate cleaning techniques.
• Accurately inventory textiles using the Assured program.
• Learn to operate the Esporta wash system and achieve certification as an operator.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, ensure a clean and organized workplace, and actively contribute to team efforts by being punctual, dependable, and in uniform.
• Demonstrate respect and understanding for coworkers, customers, and company equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance on laundry equipment, including weekly, monthly, and annual upkeep of the Esporta wash system.
• Other duties as assigned or apparent.

• Must be physically able to perform pack out/cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in cleaning and order processing.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality control standards.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous experience in a related field is preferred, including textile care, laundry operations, dry cleaning, restoration, garment care, hospitality, healthcare linen services, or inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong Problem-solving/Decision-making capabilities
• Fluent in industry standards and protocols
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Organizational skills
• Analytical thinking

This is an in-field position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.

Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Expect to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items often for this position.
