Job Summary /
Purpose:
Seeking individuals who have a great work ethic, flexible hours, and applicants must be able to work up to 20 hours per week including evenings, weekends and some holidays. Ability to keep the buildings in a clean and orderly condition. As a part-time employee, your weekly hours worked will vary. Weekly hours will average no more than 20 hours per week, not to exceed 1,000 hours per year.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect all areas in the facility to ensure cleanliness post events
- Ensure to have the right equipment and supplies to perform the job efficiently
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or need for repairs
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to perform any housekeeping functions
- Ability to handle heavy equipment
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- 1-3 years’ experience in housekeeping or similar
- Working knowledge of chemical cleaners and disinfectants
- Working knowledge of custodial equipment including buffers, shampoo machines, vacuum cleaners, bucket & wringer, etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the following basic life operational functions; stooping kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, hearing and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to carry items up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled setting.
- Periodic exposure to stressful situations
- Work is generally in a moderately noisy location
- Some non-traditional working hours may be required including evening, holiday and weekends.
