We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Service Writer to be the first face of our service department. You’ll translate customer concerns into clear work orders, set accurate expectations, and triage incoming walk‑in customers.
⭐ What You’ll Do- Create accurate work orders and clearly explain recommended repairs
- Provide realistic timelines, cost estimates, and follow‑up communication
- Check in bikes, tag them properly, and ensure smooth workflow for mechanics
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Help with parts lookups, special orders, and inventory coordination
- Strong communication skills and a calm, friendly presence
- Ability to explain mechanical issues in clear, approachable language
Solid understanding of bicycle components and common service needs - The ability to perform basic bike repairs and tune‑ups
- Prior bike shop and/or service writing experience is a required
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
