1st Shift Janitor

A Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in commercial, residential, educational, or industrial facilities. They perform routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and ensure that buildings are presentable and meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, classrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting repair needs.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools safely.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions.
• Lock and secure buildings or rooms when required.
