Custodian

Position Summary

Walmart is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary facilities in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, supporting facility operations, and addressing maintenance needs to ensure a welcoming environment for associates and customers. The Custodian will collaborate with team members, prioritize tasks effectively, and uphold Walmart’s standards of integrity and respect.

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots following safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform tasks such as emptying waste receptacles, dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, and vacuuming carpets.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, electronic devices, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles.
• Assist with facility support by setting up rooms for events, performing minor maintenance, and reporting facility issues to management.
• Collect and transport recyclables and disassemble and clean drug dispensers as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and management to prioritize tasks and improve cleaning processes.

• Proven ability to maintain clean and sanitary facilities in compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Experience using personal protective equipment and performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Ability to identify additional cleaning needs and report facility issues promptly to management.
• Competence in assisting with facility support tasks including room setup, minor maintenance, and recycling collection.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with managers, coworkers, and customers while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Commitment to uphold company policies, ethics, and integrity in all work activities.

• Monday through Friday: 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 5pm-1:30am.
• Saturday through Wednesday: 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 5pm-1:30am.
• Wednesday through Sunday: 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 5pm-1:30am.

The hourly wage range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00
