Night Custodians Anticipated

Custodian Position

The custodian reports to the school head custodian. In the absence of the head custodian or principal, the worker will receive direction from the supervisor of building and grounds, and/or the business administrator/board secretary. The custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of the school building and grounds.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, successful criminal history clearance, proof of U.S. citizenship or appropriate employment authorization, experience as a school custodian or the equivalent in custodial service at other institutions and firms, knowledge and expertise in basic techniques of custodial service, certificate of good health by school doctor, ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports, ability to communicate with others, aptitude for completion of assigned tasks, good attendance and punctuality, black seal license (one-year time allowance), and valid NJ driver’s license.

Salary is as per negotiated contract agreement.
