Who we are looking for

Dedicated Client Product Support Specialist supports post go‑live of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) implementation. Contributions include defining client requirements, configuring, and tuning the application to the client’s business and technical needs, training users, testing workflows, and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands‑on experience in the financial industry, working for a consultancy or software vendor.

Experience leading the implementation or support of Front, Middle or Back Office Investment Management systems is highly valued.

What

you will be responsible for

As a Post Production Support Specialist, you will assist and provide coordination and management of support issues reported by the Customer to Charles River. You will provide consultative guidance regarding the Customer’s use of the System, analyze and evaluate requirements, and give product expertise throughout the post‑go‑live journey. Other duties include basic project‑management assistance for services management and small projects; educating customers on methodologies and functionality;

advising on best practices for implementation and operation of Charles River solutions; monitoring and evaluating customer requirements for potential enhancements; documenting and communicating product improvements; contributing to software quality by clearly communicating defects to Client Support and Product Management; supporting defect resolution; identifying errors in documentation; and providing informal customer‑specific training to end users.

What we value

The Dedicated Client Resource is expected to have experience with Front, Middle or Back Office Investment Management systems, a minimum of 3 years of experience with mission‑critical financial solutions, and especially valuable experience in banks, hedge funds, or asset managers. Hands‑on experience implementing or supporting investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system, and substantive knowledge of fixed income or equity instruments are required.

Understanding of investment or wealth management workflows, derivatives, and FX instruments is mandatory. Technical proficiency must include knowledge of multi‑tier architectures, relational databases, SQL, FIX, and reporting tools. A strong record of customer service, time‑management, problem‑solving, and analytical skills are essential. You must be capable of conveying plans, issues, and concerns to clients and team members clearly, and influencing key decision makers internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

Four‑year degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science. An advanced degree or industry certification such as the CFA is a strong plus.

Work Requirement

Up to 3 days per week in the Malvern office.

Salary Range

$100,000 – $167,500 per year. The quoted range applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location, the applicable range could differ.
