Qualifications and Desired

Experience:
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (Illinois credentials required)
  • Experience administering educational and psychological assessments within school settings
  • Strong ability to design, implement, and monitor appropriate interventions and supports
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated capacity for cultural competence and a student-centered approach
Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive psycho educational assessments to identify students' learning needs and strengths
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations to support student success
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Offer direct counseling and social-emotional support to students as needed
  • Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, problem-solving initiatives, and response-to-intervention processes
  • Provide crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management strategies
