• The Reading Paraprofessional position supports students in the reading program.
• Reading Paraprofessionals work on student days following the T/ESD school calendar year.
• Typical scheduled hours:
  Elementary 8:30‑4:00 p, Middle School 8:15‑3:15 p, High School 7:30‑3:00 p.
  Position schedule may vary depending on assignment.
• 11 paid holidays & 7 days of paid time off (pro‑rated based on start date).
• Hourly pay rate: $23.94 per hour.

• Provide direct instruction to students in the reading support program under the supervision of a Reading Specialist.
• Deliver small‑group reading instruction as part of the regular education intervention program.
• Plan instruction, administer assessments, and participate in the collection, organization, and interpretation of learning data in consultation with the Reading Specialist.

• Candidates must be a PA‑certified teacher.

• Paid clearances & TB screening required.
• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) clearance.
• PA Criminal (Act 34) clearance.
• PA Department of Education FBI use code 1KG6XN.
• TB screening current within 3 months.
• Education documentation – diploma or official transcripts.
