Student Support Staff Position
Morton West is hiring Student Support Staff to support students enrolled in Night School. Student Support Staff may include counselors, social workers, psychologists, and other student support professionals. Student Support Staff are responsible for providing academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral support to Night School students, collaborating with Night School staff and classroom teachers, and connecting students with appropriate school-based resources and supports.
Support may include pushing into Night School classrooms, meeting individually with students, and/or pulling students from Night School classes for additional support. Night School classes meet twice per week on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 4:15 p.m.
- 7:15 p.m. Night School Student Support Staff receive a set stipend for providing student support services.
