About the role
In this role, the Laboratory Supervisor, Pre-Analytical directs the daily operation of non-testing laboratory services for phlebotomy, to ensure the pre-analytical and post-analytical precision and reproducibility of laboratory test results in accordance with accreditation standards and guidelines.

What You’ll Do- Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring effective use of staff, equipment, space, and supplies.
- Prepare schedules, monitor productivity, and meet established turnaround times.
- Review daily work to identify and correct errors; maintain workload and QC logs.
- Assess clinical and operational needs and apply appropriate leadership to keep operations efficient.
- Serve as the primary contact for nursing and other hospital departments.
- Act as a resource for staff decision‑making and problem‑solving.
- Perform phlebotomy or bench‑related duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Specific Degree(s):
Science or healthcare related field - Greater than 2 years of experience in the designated specialty or area of responsibility
- Prefer candidates who qualify under CLIA 88 as general supervisor
- Phlebotomy certification (approved certifying agency) and/or certification as Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or laboratory discipline specific or specialty certificate (ASCP or AMT or other approved certifying agency)

Pay Range: $66, Annualized
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
