Step into a rewarding contract role supporting middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities in a dynamic school environment. This opportunity involves collaborating closely with the onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, ensuring a supportive and enriching setting for both professionals and learners.

In this position, youll be assigned to a single school, working 23 days per week (1319.5 hours), from August 19 through May 28. Your caseload consists of 1520 middle school students, offering targeted intervention where it makes a real impact. The role provides the chance to focus deeply on developing communication skills that shape academic and social progress.

Key

Qualifications:
  • Current PEL with LBS 1 certification required
  • Prior experience or solid understanding of providing speech-language services in school settings, especially with students who have mild to moderate disabilities
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to collaborative support, as youll be working closely with an experienced onsite SLP
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to a small, manageable caseload of middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans consistent with IEP goals
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate progress to parents and staff
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with school and district requirements
  • Complete district-specific onboarding, including required fingerprinting before your start date
