School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant; COTA; Berwyn, Illinois

Make an impact supporting early childhood students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working onsite in a school-focused setting near Berwyn, IL. • Active Illinois COTA license (IL COTA License Required)
• Experience in early childhood/elementary settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and service delivery models
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, staff, and families
• Commitment to meeting special education requirements and IEP goals

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in early childhood programs, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with occupational therapists as well as classroom teachers, speech pathologists, and other school staff
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and participation according to school standards and state regulations
• Assist in developing activities and adapting classroom materials to promote student success and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reviews as required
