The Sales & Marketing Associate will play a key role in supporting BL Duke’s sales growth and brand visibility. This position works closely with the Sales Team to develop, execute, and measure marketing initiatives across digital, print, and in-person channels. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, data-driven, and comfortable balancing marketing execution with inside sales support.

Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Management
  • Develop, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns across all platforms, including:
    • Videos and digital content
    • PowerPoint presentations and sales materials
  • Maintain a consistent and unified BL Duke brand across all internal and external channels.
  • Manage and update company website(s), including:
    • SEO strategy and optimization
    • Blog and website content creation
    • Coordination with freelance content creators and SEO partners
  • Write and pitch press releases, blog posts, and marketing content.
  • Manage BL Duke’s Google Business Profile, including messages, reviews, and updates.
  • Organize, order, and manage marketing materials and branded BL Duke swag.
Social Media & Digital Presence
  • Own and grow BL Duke’s social media presence, including followers, engagement, and reach.
  • Manage the social media content calendar and daily posting schedule.
  • Monitor, respond to, and manage comments, messages, and reviews (positive and negative).
  • Audit all marketing and social channels to ensure brand consistency across the organization.
  • Capture photos and videos of BL Duke operations and job sites (including drone/GoPro footage) for marketing use.
  • Design digital and print marketing materials using Canva and other design tools.
  • Analyze performance using Google Analytics and social media insights; prepare reports on key metrics and trends.
  • Monitor competitor social media activity and engage where appropriate.
Events, Networking & Trade Shows
  • Plan and coordinate BL Duke’s participation in networking events, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Manage internal team attendance and volunteer opportunities.
  • Assist with planning and execution of BL Duke-hosted events.
  • Attend events as a brand ambassador for BL Duke.
  • Email weekly and monthly pricing updates to customers.
  • Screen and route inbound sales inquiries.
  • Distribute monthly lead and prospect email campaigns.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and dispatch teams.
  • Act as a “home base” for outside sales representatives, providing support while they are in the field.
  • Prepare proposals and assist with pricing communications for sales leads.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Support additional projects and duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B marketing, content development, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Hands‑on experience with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Passion for social media and digital marketing trends.
  • Proficiency with photo and video editing tools and digital media formats.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, HTML, and website content management.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
