Stroke/neuro is a 24-bed unit that includes telemetry beds devoted to the care of the stoke patient. A multidisciplinary team manages patient care to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Stroke/TIA patients are continuously monitored using the latest technology.
All nursing staff that routinely manages patients in the stroke/neuro unit will achieve and maintain certification on the NIH stroke scale and ACLS with arrhythmia interpretation.

The selected candidate will join a team of registered nurses, patient care technicians, physicians, residents, and other esteemed members of the interdisciplinary team to provide care to our valued patient population.  Support staff on the unit includes the stroke coordinator, respiratory therapy, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, case management, nutritional services, social work, pharmacy, pastoral care, and community nursing service.  The nurse manager with a designated charge nurse for each shift manages the unit.  

Neurologists, neurosurgery, and hospitalist support is available either in-house or by pager 24/7.

Flexible self-scheduling, with designated third weekend commitment and accommodating three holidays per year.  All registered nurses can become ACLS and Medical Surgical Board certified!

_BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour_

_ADN Pay Range: $32.97 - $57.06 per hour_

_Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles._
