Position Summary
Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend solutions, and promptly resolve any customer concerns. Associates are expected to maintain high product standards, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness while achieving the store’s sales goals.
Location: Store #3019, 3300 S Harlem Ave, Riverside, IL 60546
Hours: Full Time
Pay: Starts at $18.75 per hour
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and in compliance with policies and procedures
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain precise work order files, pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tint and mix products to customer specifications as needed
- Stock shelves, set up displays, clean store equipment, and maintain in‑stock and presentable assigned areas
- Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in making deliveries when required
- Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options
- Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales
Job duties may involve contact with customers, including minors; access to cash and other payment methods; and handling electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value. The Company requires a criminal history review to protect the business, customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Minimum Requirements- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship for a work visa
- Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending and communicating in English and Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Internal employees must have a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal and have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail or customer service role
- Prior experience selling paint or related products
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
