Social Worker in Berwyn, IL

• Valid licensure or certification to practice school social work
• Previous school-based social work experience preferred, especially in middle school environments
• Strong ability to assess, advocate, and create support plans for students facing academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with other social workers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with developing interventions and behavioral strategies for individual students and groups
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Provide direct services, counseling, and crisis intervention for middle school students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support strategies
• Collaborate with other social workers within the district to coordinate services and share resources
  
  Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Maintain documentation and adhere to best practices and ethical standards in school social work
• Support the positive social, emotional, and academic development of students
