School Social Worker - Berwyn, IL

• Valid Social Worker license or certification as required for school-based practice
• Previous experience in elementary schools preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Skilled in creating supportive environments for students from varied backgrounds
• Familiarity with school-based counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning

• Deliver direct and indirect services to elementary-aged students including counseling, intervention, and advocacy
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support academic and social-emotional development
• Conduct assessments and help develop student plans to address individual needs
• Facilitate family engagement and connect families to community resources when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with policies and procedures
• Participate in student support or IEP meetings as required
