Meter Reader Details:
- Temporary position
- $ 17.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
- Read, record and verify electric and water usages using handheld devices
- Check for unusual consumptions and make notations for re-reads to prevent errors in the billing process
- Have the physical ability to walk or drive designated routes
- Inspect and report damaged meters, tampering or leaks
- Be able to communicate and answer meter reading questions and basic billing questions
Meter Reader
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must have clean driving record
- Have the physical ability to walk, bend and kneel continuously
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
