The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000.
Position SummaryUnder general supervision, receives incoming material, verifies quantities, assures quality of product, annotates damages and counts discrepancies; compiles quantitative data and enters data into the computer for processing of material. May be required to drive various types of vehicles, process mail, process returned goods, perform property moves, and perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years in supply warehouse setting preferred.
- Computer experience – Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Current Alaska Driver’s License.
- Driving record review will be conducted annually; depending on your driving record you may not be retained in your position.
- Certified HAZMAT for Transportation completed when class is offered.
- Certified forklift operator completed when class is offered.
- Box truck experience, Express Van experience preferred.
- Must have excellent math skills, must be organized and detail oriented.
- Self‑motivated, sees something that needs to be done and does.
- Good communication skills and ability to work alone or as a team player.
